Traditional butchers shop supplying high quality local Welsh meat.
We take great care in selecting our animals, the majority of which are personally selected from farms within a 25 mile radius of our shop. We only buy animals from producers who meet our high standards of animal husbandry and animal welfare.
A great advantage of having our own abattoir is that we can exercise control over the entire from ‘farm to fork’ process and can also guarantee that the animal chosen by us is indeed the one which appears in our shop.
Our beef is hung for 21 days. Smoked ham, gammon and bacon is smoked locally at Chirk Smokery.
